Definitely cools my car.

I like it. It's thicker than many of the more popular, "bouncy" sun visor styles and definitely blocks light equal to heat. My car is noticeably colder when I use it. Two additional side sun blinds are easy to use on the tailgate windows. All blinds use suction cups, which is nice - you don't have to rely on the car's sun flaps to fall down to hold them in place, although I do that as an extra security measure anyway.

The compact windshield sunshade folds easily and the side blinds can be extended and retracted. soon. All take up a minimum of storage space in the car. Fits 2002 Outback; works as it should. Side shadows are questionable.

Fits my 2002 Subaru Outback very well: perfect width but maybe an inch short in height (I'm too picky). Excellent suction cups; No more flipping the visor! flexible and thin for storage and works well enough on the window. I'm not sure how I feel about curtains on the side windows. These are very thin stockings so they don't block much (any?) light or heat. I might wrap them with more mesh or silver mylar balloon material.

Not suitable for all SUVs, cars, etc. The quality is suspect.

Advantages: Has two rubber bands to close each end, grommets help identify which end is which for the rearview mirror cutout (doesn't match our other car - Suburu Forrester with a very narrow windshield), gaskets and quality of shield match not up to standard a little torn when trying to insert one of the suction cups - you have to be very careful, side window blinds not ideal for most car models (let's be honest what car has square windows these days?) The curtains stick very well (you need some force to remove the suction cups) During the day it is much cooler in the car than without a curtain. The material seems to be holding up well. Curtains fold well.
