Unfortunately one of the small plates broke when it accidentally fell on the floor. While I understand that glassware is likely to shatter if struck against another hard surface, the problem is the manufacturer's claim that the product is "break and chip resistant", which is the main reason I bought it . The design is beautiful and I like the dishes very much. Just very disappointed that the promise was not kept.
