I bought it on purpose as I didn't want to bother with maintenance - rust, tarnishing, repairs etc. I've had it for 4 years now and it's holding up well! The rose gold looks just as good as when you first bought it. Note that the clasp only gives you one length option, so measure it and make sure it's right for you.
