A little too heavy for me

I've been in In EMS since 2010 and for those of you who are in emergency services especially already know that your stuff including stethoscope will just up and walk away! So with that being said, I tend to keep my stethoscope around my neck during shift that way I limit the chances of it happening! The packaging came in great condition and fast with my ebay prime! I picked the purple but was a little darker in person and could slightly be mistaken for a dark navy if u aren't looking at it like

Pros
  • Sound quality is excellent, great value.
Cons
  • Multiple features may be overwhelming for some users

just dont expect s fine tuned Mitral valve murmer expectation

It's not a Litmann.I had my cardiology Litmann stolen by a student physician, while working with open heart patients. I didn't need such an exclusive item at this point in time. However, it's worth $38+ Dont consider this item was worth the current price.Be aware putting the the ear plugs in backwards, will incorrectly will cause in a zero result, just a small fact. So, if you don't hear anything, then turn the ear plugs around. In terms of function, this item does work, just dont expect a fine…

It works in reverse!

Emergency medicine physician, 8 years and counting. Been looking for a solid replacement for my current stethoscope which basically died on me, but unable to cough up 200 USD for the Littman model that I fancied. Stumbled across this beauty, and never looked back! Lightweight and doesn't even feel any heavier during 24-hour shifts. The sleek, extended tubing is a blessing for the back when taking vitals and stuff. The sound, which was heavily maligned by other reviews, may be due to the fact…

Pros
  • ERGONOMIC: Sculpted oversized chestpiece is precision CNC machined to exacting tolerances from lightweight alloy. Overall length 30 inches, weight 5.4 oz.
Cons
  • Not compatible with all medical equipment and devices

Best bang for your buck

I had an MDF scope and upgraded to a Littman Classic 3. I ended up losing the Littman and went with the ADC. I will fromnow on continue to buy ADC definitely best value, great sound, sturdy, lightweight. I work in a 911 ambulance system and no matter where I go this it doesn’t let me down. Only negative I have to say and it’s more of personal preference is the length is maybe 1-2in longer then the Littman. Same warranty as Littman and save $.

Pros
  • Love it
Cons
  • Expensive price tag compared to other stethoscopes in the market

ADC vs Littman Card III

I am an ER Doctor using this stethoscope writing this review. I had been using the cardiology III stethoscope, lost it, and was using this stethoscope for one month. I see many patients and use my stethoscope 20-30 times per day. This is a comparison between the Littman Cardiology III and the ADC Tactical StethoscopeAppearance- The ADC Tactical wins this one. This is an attractive stethoscope with appealing colors and ergonomics. Cardiology III looks good as well but this one winsEarpiece- The…

Pros
  • Affordable: Despite its high quality and advanced features, this stethoscope is priced very competitively, making it accessible to a wide range of healthcare professionals
Cons
  • May not be compatible with electronic medical records or other digital platforms

EXCELLENT replacement, feels like an upgrade!

I had used a Littman Cardiology II stethoscope in my work as an ED physician for years. The tubing had gotten stiff, and the sound quality was suffering (and I had already purchased new bell caps occasionally). I went with these based on the reviews and couldn't be happier. Lightweight, longer tubing, excellent sound sensitivity. Highs and lows are easy to modulate. I don't need bluetooth, recording, volume adjustment or any of that stuff. These are truly exceptional, and despite being priced…

Pros
  • The included diaphragm and bell can be easily detached and swapped as needed, allowing you to quickly switch between different diagnostic applications
Cons
  • May not provide accurate results in high altitude or low atmospheric pressure environments

Great stethoscope best in my review

Great stethoscope. I have owned a Littman Classic II. S.E. and a Littman Lightweight. This ADC stethoscope is actually better than both at auscultating lung sounds and heart sounds. The stethoscope also looks great. If I had to choose between the 3 of the listed stethoscopes, I would choose this ADC platinum 615 (if the prices were similar, which they are in 2022 at $60-70).I have also owned a Littman Cardiology III for 7 years, and now a Littman Cardiology IV. These stethoscopes are of higher…

Pros
  • The design of this stethoscope is carefully crafted to fit comfortably in the hand, minimizing strain on your hands and wrists during use
Cons
  • May not provide sufficient sound insulation for clinicians working in loud or noisy clinics

I'm a nurse and I need a good stethoscope for listening to heart and lung sounds. I also need a stethoscope for taking manual blood pressures. The ADC Adscope is great as far as listening to heart sounds. It's clear as a bell. You can tell the bell portion is high quality - its built like a Littman.Compared to many stethoscopes, the tubing on this one is rubbery. I can't say that I like that feature - it may prove to be harder to clean than the more vinyl tubing of other stethoscopes. Also…

Pros
  • Stethoscopes
Cons
  • May not be suitable for patients with sensitive skin or allergies

Don't Hesitate Just Buy It !

This is an awesome stethoscope. The color is a beautiful dark turquoise and the sound is amazing!Long length and love the shape of the Bell/Diaphragm. No more static when you are pressing on it to hear better. It is great, you will love it just buy it already!

Pros
  • Easy to Use
Cons
  • Can be difficult to clean and sanitize properly, increasing risk of infection transmission

Better than Litman Classic-3

I am a med student currently in my clinical rotations like all others I was in a dilemma whether to buy Litman or the never heard brand ADC. I spent about 2 days trying to find out the best stethoscope possible. After detailed reviews, I thought I should go for the branded Litman and it was costing me around 120$. Then my friend and most other people even suggested Litman. I have to tell you honestly if you want to get Litman get the top cardiology one don't waste your 120$ for something which…

Pros
  • 615ST
Cons
  • May not provide adequate sound amplification for patients with hearing impairments

Five Stars good for me

I love this stethoscope! I can hear everything and it is a great and sturdy build! I do not have much money as a student to spend a lot on a stethoscope, and can't wait until I can buy some from the higher end of this series. I have tried my friends $300 littmann, and this to me had just about the same acoustics! I can hear just about every lung, heart, and bowel sound with this one. I can even hear through clothing if I need to. It's an extremely sturdy build, and has a nice feel and look to…

Pros
  • English
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for long-term use in busy clinical settings

The best stethoscope I have purchased.

The sound quality is spectacular. If you can’t hear heart sounds, respiration, or bowel sounds with this. Something is seriously wrong with the patient. I love my stethoscope.

Pros
  • The ADC Adscope 615 Platinum is built to last, featuring tough materials that can withstand regular use and harsh working conditions
Cons
  • Not recommended for emergency or critical care situations

ADC or bust best in my review

I rarely take the time to write reviews but this one is worth it, to help other healthcare providers in making a solid purchase. I bought this stethoscope after my Littmann Classic III disappeared off the truck. I’ve used it for several shifts and am very impressed by the quality and acoustics - breath sounds are very easy to auscultate with adequate volume, even in a moving ambulance. This stethoscope matches or surpasses the Littmann Cardiology series. You won’t have any difficulty in hearing

Pros
  • Hygienic
Cons
  • May be difficult to use with patients who are heavily clothed or wearing thick clothing

I am an emergency physician. I use my stethoscope every day of my working life. For years I used a 3M Littmann Master Cardiology Stethoscope, Black Plated Chestpiece and Eartubes, Black Tube, 27 inch, 2161 (currently over $200). A year ago I picked up this ADC Adscope 615, and since then this has become the only stethoscope I bring to work. The longer tubing helps avoid bending over and saves my back. The elongated chest piece handles very nicely. Critically for me, it is light around the neck.

Pros
  • ACCESSORIES INCLUDED: 2 additional pairs of Adsoft Plus eartips, accessory storage pouch, and a complimentary scope ID tag.
Cons
  • May not fit comfortably in all ear sizes and shapes

Perfect stethoscope!

The quality of this stethoscope surprised me. It's as good as my Litman cardiology 3. Can't beat the price! Not recommended for remote or telehealth consultations!

Pros
  • The high-quality construction of the Adscope 615 Platinum ensures that it will last for years to come, making it a great investment for any clinician
Cons
  • Not recommended for remote or telehealth consultations

Cant believe this beats out my 300 dollar mdf stethescope.

Straight up i honestly cant believe the price of the stethescope. Not sure why it got any bad reviews. I had an mdf stethescope given to me by the school which was a 300 dollar stethescope with attachment for pediatrics etc etc. And honestly i can hear sounds so much clearer with this stethescope. What i did notice too was the flexibiliy in the tubing and the length which was extremely good. I had a littman which was 150 i purchased years ago when i had originally done rn school, but it did not

Pros
  • Weighing just 5.4 oz, this stethoscope is incredibly lightweight, making it easy to carry around all day without experiencing any fatigue
Cons
  • May not provide accurate results in noisy environments

Good bang for the buck

This is an affordable quality alternative to the more expensive Littmann, I own a Littmann Master Cardiology 3,It was given to me as a gift, so I am not trashing Littmann, I'm just saying that the ADC scopes are quality scopesThat won't break the bank, and their customer services is outstanding. The scope came with a total of three ear piecesAnd a name tag, the name tag was a thin plastic snap on, which broke 5 minutes in to a trauma call. The ear piece came off due to getting caught on…

Pros
  • Versatile: The Adscope 615 Platinum can be used for a wide range of diagnostic applications, from listening for heart sounds to assessing lung function
Cons
  • Limited customization options for personal preferences and needs

Amazing customer service!

Very nice stethoscope, very good value! I have had the ear pieces rip easily and now have crack in the tube, which has happened with every Littman I have previously owned. Their customer service is amazing! Send an email, they responded within 12-24 hours, and sent the replacement parts needed with no questions asked. The lifetime parts replacement is so worth it! Highly recommend!

Pros
  • Convenient: The included spare ear tips and diaphragm ensure that you always have backup components on hand in case of wear and tear
Cons
  • May not provide sufficient sound amplification for faint or soft patient sounds

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love my ADC stethoscope!

I can hear murmurs, bruits, and valvular clicks I’ve only heard in training DVDs in med school—but never before with my own stethoscope. I can clearly hear low and high-pitched sounds through clothes, with only the occasional rustle of the fabric. The head is a little heavy, but that’s not a con for me. The earpieces are far more comfortable than my med school Sprague stethoscope. The scope comes with an ID tag that securely clasps at the ‘Y’ of the tubing; after writing my name on the tag, I…

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • Can be difficult to hear low-frequency sounds in certain patients
