🚿 Enhance Your Bathroom with the Delta Faucet RP5648 Stopper in Chrome Review

The cork fitted my Delta sink and worked, but the 'chrome' has a yellow tint that doesn't quite match the original drain. It's hard to pinpoint, but looks like it's somewhere between chrome and polished nickel.

The description of this product on the website clearly states that it is 3250 inches tall. Not true. It's 5 inches, like all other drain plugs with a similar profile. As a result, I couldn't use it in my sink.

This Delta replacement faucet is easy and hassle-free to install. The only criticism I have is that the original cork had a "Delta" signature on the chrome top and they are plain. So they don't look authentic and they don't match my double sinks as now one has delta and the other doesn't.

If it fits and looks better than the old one but the sink still doesn't hold water well. It flows out slowly. The drain hole may be uneven or slightly out of round. I just can't determine what the problem is: in the seal on the cork or in the drain.

This "OEM" replacement dangles down the drain much more than the original Delta plug. as if it doesn't belong I don't know why, all sizes seem the same except this one size for all OEM replacements has a different shape at the stem end (and had to be trimmed at the locking point in my case). I will look for the real one.

I have cleared another hair clog and found the coating has peeled off my original 6 year old parts. I saw it and thought, great, I can live with the original fittings for a few more years and still make the sink socially acceptable again. Some of the reviews bothered me, so I wanted to help potential buyers. Looks like original Delta parts. I haven't installed them yet, but they appear to be identical to the parts that came and installed with the original faucet. Arrived quickly. No questions.

We have very hard well water where we live. The original rubber seal on the drain plug had hardened and was no longer able to seal properly due to limescale deposits. I have tried to find an original Delta brand at a local store with no success. I chose this model after browsing the Delta website. The stopper to be replaced had two full holes for attaching the linkage, so only one hole was shown on the models. As far as I could tell, a standard chrome connector has two holes, while a custom color can only have one hole. The Chrome connector I'm going with was the exact replacement.
