Review on Formal Flowy Evening Gown With Batwing Sleeves - KOH KOH by Stuart Sugden

Revainrating 2 out of 5

A little awkward. good for me

I missed the return window on this dress… so I decided I had to at least try wearing it all day.I originally bought this dress to attend a wedding and soon found out that the plus size version was not the same as the normal size version. There are two awkward arm panels added to each sleeve to make the sleeve larger instead of just cutting a larger pattern. Because it looked a lot cheaper than the photos online, I did not wear it to a wedding. The waist is done quite well and looks nice. The neck opening is a very thin long slit (not round) and makes it uncomfortable to wear since it rubs on the neck. There is a cute small cut out in the back of the dress that is cute if you get the lining to lay right. If you don’t, it looks like female genitalia sticking out from your back. The fabric looks cheap, however it is quite comfortable and not see through! The length is great for a 5’8” person.Overall, the dress is just awkward. There are some great qualities to it, and a lot of qualities that made me want to return it. I’ll give it a few more chances before giving it away to someone else who might be able to wear it better than I can.

Pros
  • The dress is perfect for awards shows
Cons
  • Not ideal for those who prefer sleeveless styles
