My mom always had one for my kids so I bought one for my granddaughters. The youngest sleeps better in it than in the pack and plays (she's alert enough to see her mother in bed next to her, I think, and falls asleep on with some discomfort). The mattress that came with it is very thin so I bought a 3 inch firm mattress instead. It took a little while to partially assemble the crib as the instructions are taped to the underside of the foundation and I did it myself. There was a knock to the wood which must have happened before the paint was applied at the factory but overall the pieces arrived in good condition. Setup and storage is very easy; I put it to the side of my dressing room (a mattress is stored next to it). Once assembled, it easily rolls from room to room as needed.
