Got this for dad for fathers day. This year he will be 71. He wanted a thin, light, beautiful vintage style helmet. The sizing of the helmet is comparable to the big names, so if a large Shoei helmet suits you, this one will do. Very important. It may not have all the high tech features of a $400 Schuberth, but compared to others you can buy at this price point, it's a great helmet. Update: I bought one too. It's been about a year. On September 29, 2019, I left my parents and went home at around 3:00 p.m. I live in the country, lots of fields, forests and, as I found out, deer. At 100 km/h I drove into a clearing and the deer crashed directly into the front wheel of my touring bike. It happened in a split second. I was wearing a xxxl Daytona 3/4 jet helmet, leather jacket, boots, gloves and jeans. I couldn't avoid anything and the deer tore my front wheel off. Sent me straight onto my back and my head hit the sidewalk. I slipped, rolled and fell. Aside from a broken bike, a minor rash in the form of a worn helmet and damaged pride, I was fine. I was stunned but nothing broke and most importantly NO head injury. Luckily I fell on my back. If I had landed on my face first, maybe it would have been different with this open helmet. But he survived the burial at 60 mph. If you look at the pictures I uploaded you can see the damage my helmet saved my head from. I rode many kilometers with this helmet. I will be buying more for Spring 2020.
