Please spend an additional $10 and purchase Pur or Culligan. I bought 3 packs, one cartridge was defective and the status light was red until I replaced the cartridge. It's only been 2 weeks and the other cartridges are already glowing amber. and they need to be replaced in a couple of weeks. Polyurethane cartridges lasted 3 months on an old galvanized pipe. They lasted 2 weeks and one cartridge was defective from the sealed packaging. Don't waste your money. Spend $30 for 3 cartridges. for 3 months or spend $20 on it and $30 to buy a famous brand in a few weeks, your choice
