I ordered these because I am running wiring in a log cabin and didn't want to mess around with massive drilling to get a new 120v line are low voltage and very easy to use, anyone who can use a hole drill and a couple of screws to assemble and attach can get it done very quickly with little mess or extra work. I ordered all the parts I could get from Revain but got a few extras from the company's website. I repaired the kitchen in about an hour including the fixings above and below the cabinet. Grab some zip ties and some connectors and find a place to hide a small power supply as a starting point and you can branch off from there. I drilled holes big enough for the ends to go through (I wish the ends of the cables were small, but that doesn't spoil the show at all) and ran small wires (they are very neat and easy to pull, bend, tie etc.) d.) Interior closet styles, easy to hide. It really brightens up the room and I would do it again for other rooms or for friends. I found the brightness to be good, maybe an 8 out of 10. You can't look directly at it for more than a second or so.
