Review on DUP Eyelash Fixer EX 553 in Black Type, 1oz by Ryan Gordon

I tried it for the first time when I visited Japan because my old eyelash glue couldn't stand the humid Japanese weather. It is black and dries to a matte black. When it dries and you peel it off it has a bubble gum texture but again if you use eye makeup remover it comes off very easily. Most importantly, I have oily skin hence oily eyelids. However, if you give it enough time to dry, it will stay in place all day. If you have monolids I can see they won't last all day but my friend found that you can reapply the lashes during lunch (it takes 10 minutes) and it will last. It's annoying, but there's not much you can do when your thick mono eyelids touch glue every time you blink. My friend has monolids so she gives them at least a few minutes to dry completely before she blinks. If you have monolids, don't blink until you feel the glue is completely dry. In the beginning there will be trial and error. Also, don't put too much glue on your eyelashes because the tape is heavier on your eyelid. It dries matte black and looks like eyeliner! That's why I don't apply eyeliner over the false lashes, I only use it before and at the end of the false lash line. SAVE on eyeliner and get rid of makeup. Also, try not to mess around and change the glue if it's not fully cured as it may stain the bottle, eyelid or your fingers.
