Beyond praise! The product definitely deserves your attention.

I've been shooting with Sony cameras for a long time. Before that, there was the A500, then the A77, and so I decided to change the DSLR to a mirrorless one, because I don’t lose quality at all, but this camera is much smaller and lighter in size and weight, and, importantly, it doesn’t look like a professional one, which allows I advise everyone to shoot freely on the street :) I advise everyone, and despite the fact that the camera is from 2022, it is still not outdated, although there were continuations in the face of the A6300 / A6500, but there the changes are more related to shooting video, but in terms of photo A6000 still looks great against the background of competitors!

Pros
  • 1. Ergonomics. The Sony A6000 is much smaller than a DSLR, and although it is not as small as a compact, it is much more convenient to work with. All thanks to a good grip: you can hold the carcass even with a large lens with one hand. Well, the weight of the camera can also be attributed to the pluses of the a6000. It is much smaller than a conventional DSLR. When worn for a long time on a belt, it does not pull the neck. 2. The presence of a viewfinder, which not all mirrorless cameras have, as it were, emphasizes the high class of the camera. In sunny weather, when the screen becomes blind, you can use it! It is of very high quality, while you see the picture directly from the camera matrix in it, which makes it possible to understand how your frame will turn out in the end even before pressing the shutter button. The viewfinder has a built-in proximity sensor, so when you bring the camera up to your face, the image on the screen will move to it. 3. This camera, like DSLRs, has removable lenses. You can use both native optics for the E mount, and install lenses from other manufacturers through adapters. I advise you to buy a native 50 mm 1.8 lens with a stabilizer in addition to the whale lens - neither Kenon nor Nikon have analogues to such a lens! 4. The camera matrix has a resolution of 24 megapixels, and despite the high resolution, it does not make much noise, the ISO 3200 value is quite working. 5. This camera, like any modern one, has Wi-Fi, but only on Sony cameras you can, like on a smartphone, install applications that expand your capabilities, for example, a convenient application for shooting time-lapse. You can also catch pictures on your phone immediately without wires. You can control the camera from your smartphone using it as a screen and remote control. 6. Very fast autofocus, works great when shooting on the move, at least with native lenses.
Cons
  • 1. The screen is not rotatable enough, it cannot be rotated 180 degrees to take a selfie, nor can it be rotated to cover it from damage 2. Dust sticks to the matrix quickly, you need to learn how to clean it yourself so as not to give money for cleaning every time 3. Weak battery. I recommend purchasing an additional battery, you can Chinese, it will cost three times cheaper than the original one.
