Absolutely fantastic choice for Kindergarten to master standards like the difference between 2D and 3D shapes as well as the Number of sides each flat shape has. There can be no better product for this. Large size is very convenient for younger children. Contains curves for circles and spheres. I was arguing between this set and the Lakeside set. Lakeshore had no curves. Fantastically happy with what they can do with this set and very happy I chose this one. The maps are awesome too, helping with building and strategy skills. Also great for motor skills. Children also branch out from the figures in their free time and love to make palm trees, spiders and helicopters from curved parts. The only downside is that there aren't many parts in the box that can be used in a class with mids. I had to buy two sets and it barely filled our tiny basket they fit in. Two sets are hardly enough for a center with 6-7 children doing a figure at the same time. The only reason they give 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's expensive for the centers. I'm hoping to order a third set soon, but that's a mid-$60.00. There should be more in the box.
