Bought these for my boyfriend who travels a lot for work and thank god I did! About a week after I mounted it on his GoPro, he dropped it in his truck and the lens hit a rock on the carpet. The tempered glass added a crack, but the camera itself was not damaged! I'm sure the camera would have held up without the protective tempered glass, but I don't want to test it either! The application was easy. Instructions were attached to it, and each of the packages was numbered. Just follow the instructions and boom, you're done! I always try to clean the glass a couple of times before putting tempered glass on top simply because I don't want dirt getting underneath.
