Strange results when extending my USB-C hub

I was trying to use this with my USB-C hub which has a keyboard, mouse and monitor. But every time I start my computer, my keyboard doesn't light up or work until I restart my computer right after it boots up. Don't remember I only had this problem with my hub. However, it performs well in terms of durability thanks to the braided cable.

Pros
