All in all, this is a great addition to my arsenal of car electronics and entertainment accessories. Perfectly charges tablets and Android phones. Plugs firmly into the DC car accessory socket (cigarette lighter) and is very durable. The only drawback is the fact that the two USB ports are very difficult to distinguish. Personally I would just prefer standard USB connectors and do away with the Apple hacks required to be compatible with Apple devices as such hacks are not USB claims and mean an adapter will work with standard USB, while the other only works with Apple products or products that have hacked their USB port to support Apple ports. Ultimately, this means that some devices simply won't charge (or charge quickly) when plugged into one of the ports (those marked A). Since their ports are only marked "A" or "NA" in small print, and the adapter can be oriented (rotated) in either direction in the connector, there is no easy distinction between up and down (which port is which) without to look at the label. Which is easier said than done in my app as my car has multiple connections and many of them are hidden from the road. So still a great product and I am very happy with it. I can't comment on longevity as it's used in the interior of my car (Honda Pilot) so isn't used as often as the other add-on ports. I suggest you check your car's power connector rating to make sure it supports the total current draw of the devices you're plugging into. Most modern cars are current limiting which means this is not a problem. However, older vehicles may blow a fuse or even burn other electrical components if the full 3.1A current is used for a long period of time.
