I usually have a light on my mantel for Halloween and Christmas. I have a garland of leaves for Thanksgiving and I'm stringing them onto the leaves. It looked very festive. The board is excellent. I only used lights when setting up but they had all kinds of options: flashing, running, slow on/off etc. I used a dimmer but when I removed them today I realized I was missing the timer setting not used. I also only used the battery and they were very light and lasted a week. I could use USB but it would be nice not to use a cable. For the price they are worth it in my opinion. The only problem is that if you don't line up the acorns correctly, the lights at the bottom of the acorn will also look wrong. But you can bend the wire to slightly show the top of the acorns. I highly recommend these lamps for the fall season.
