I got these knee pads after my meniscus surgery. I ordered a large based on the measurements although I was concerned it would be too big as it is unisex (I'm a 5ft 5in woman, I wear a size 8 pants and don't have big feet), but it's a really perfect fit! Anything else would be too tight around my thigh in my opinion. The sleeve is very comfortable and pairs well with spandex leggings, although I doubt it will work under skinny jeans as it's not a thin fabric. I wear it for at least 6 hours and don't even realize it's on. Knitwear is flexible and soft. It's not a compression sleeve, but it seems to have reduced my pain/discomfort after wearing it for Pilates and walking. recommend.
