Follow the instructions and you won't have any problems! I bought a 6 gallon rubber bucket ahead of time because you need that much water. I also worried about getting my white kitchen sinks dirty. First I had to use two large pots to heat the water. One of my favorite jackets has faded and this product helped. In the future I'll probably use the whole bottle to see if I can make her/other black clothes even darker. Cons: Tedious - you need to stir for 30-60 minutes; Consumes a lot of water. You will use a giant pot (5 gallon minimum) or a 5 gallon bucket; It's impossible to dye too many things at once - I had high hopes of adding lots of black garments so they're the same color. unfortunately I could only make one jacket. Pros: Works. After completing the whole process, I threw it in the washing machine and air dried it. The paint didn't dirty the sink or the kitchen.
