There are a million phone mounts and many of them are inferior. It's not one of them. I already have mounts in all my cars but I wanted one with inductive charging. This is a big first world problem, but when I'm driving my jeep or off-road, I often unhook my phone to get out and take pictures. I hate plugging and unplugging the cable every time (even though it's USB-C and simpler than microUSB). With this inductive mount, you don't have to fiddle with cables. A key factor for me was the USB-C connector on the charger versus MicroUSB like most others. I already have a USB-C cable running through my dash, so not having to run another cable was a huge plus. I have a large Note 9 phone and it's in an Otterbox Defender case which makes it even bulkier. Difficult to fit into bracket but fits. I was concerned it would bounce on a rough road, but I had just returned from an off-road tour and it didn't budge. The mount also held up and held a heavy phone without moving or pulling the suction cup. Charging worked as expected and I didn't have to fiddle with cables all the time. Very good!
