My husband bought this cable (I think it was about $25) to make our old TV as a "Smart TV" . Yes, it was easy - just see the comment below for what you have for the TV. ). To be honest, I didn't think it would work , because when we searched the Internet for options, each of the proposed solutions seemed to consist of 487 steps. But it worked. We have an old TV (6-7 years ago, counting from 2018) with "three holes" ( for yellow, red, and white connectors). Basically, we followed the instructions and plugged the cables in where they belong. My only advice with this piece of hardware bullshit is to try to figure out exactly what you have - can be a daunting task , but it allows likes you to buy the right products. Then follow the instructions - we had certain things to do in a certain order, but it was very quick, maybe just a minute or two and we were watching a movie on TV. We saved a lot of money for a new TV and kept something useful from going to landfill.
