One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

The task was to transfer an image from an old DVD player to a modern TV. The previous one I tried the SCART-HDMI adapter, but it turned out to have a number of small drawbacks (mains power, bright LED), which this device is deprived of. I power it directly from the USB input of the TV, that is, it works simultaneously with the TV and does not consume extra energy for charging.

Pros
  • - Small - USB powered - No extra LEDs - Performs its functions well
Cons
  • - Not found

HDMI to RCA Converter

This is a product you would probably never think of until you need it and then are sure it even exists. I am pleased to report that this is the case. If you have an HDMI-only digital device (my laptop in my case) that you want to display on an old TV (i.e. no HDMI port) this is an inexpensive adapter. It converts a high-resolution HDMI digital signal into an analogue signal for an RCA connection (small red, white and yellow plugs). The result, of course, is no longer a brilliant high-definition

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Long Delivery Time

So far so good - Accessories and consumables

Tried to convert the HDMI input to an RCA input but didn't have a connector for a USB connection. Obviously it needs USB power because when I plugged it in it cut power from my HDMI signal splitter and all my HDMIs went dead. Why wasn't it included? I saw in the instructions in the box that there is no USB plug included. Why sell a product that requires USB power and doesn't include a wall plug? I recently bought another HDMI converter and it came with one. It will probably cost you 25 cents to

. about $25) to make our old TV work as a "Smart TV "

My husband bought this cable (I think it was about $25) to make our old TV as a "Smart TV" . Yes, it was easy - just see the comment below for what you have for the TV. ). To be honest, I didn't think it would work , because when we searched the Internet for options, each of the proposed solutions seemed to consist of 487 steps. But it worked. We have an old TV (6-7 years ago, counting from 2018) with "three holes" ( for yellow, red, and white connectors). Basically, we followed the…

Pleasantly Surprised

I have worked with electronics and A/V systems for nearly three decades and have used many HDMI to RCA converters (by Revain) with less than brilliant results. After realizing that most of them are the same disappointing piece of hardware offered by different vendors, I took a chance and can't express how happy I am with it! I bought this to convert an HDMI signal from a tablet to a screen in the back of our new (for us) van for our kids to see. I was disappointed to see that the van only had…

Working but has picture issues

The product worked as described and converted HDMI audio/video to analog, however there were a few issues that caused me to give it a 3 star rating. The sound quality sounded good. No problem. The quality of the resulting image was inferior to traditional HDMI. Think cable internet versus DSL/DUN. The image was a bit bulky and the resolution had to be increased to better see the text (800 resolution versus 1300 with native HDMI). Nothing I saw in the descriptions indicated an expected loss. I…
