Review on Cable Converts Digital Signal Analog by Jason Guzman

I have worked with electronics and A/V systems for nearly three decades and have used many HDMI to RCA converters (by Revain) with less than brilliant results. After realizing that most of them are the same disappointing piece of hardware offered by different vendors, I took a chance and can't express how happy I am with it! I bought this to convert an HDMI signal from a tablet to a screen in the back of our new (for us) van for our kids to see. I was disappointed to see that the van only had RCA inputs based on my previous experience with such converters. This product not only filled the need, but exceeded my (albeit mediocre) expectations. Video quality isn't impressive (roughly 480p), but the screen used is just under 7 inches. My kids seriously don't need 1080p to watch cartoons! Setup was easy. USB power recommended. Video and audio output is clear. I highly recommend these box converters!
