The first thing that struck me was the cheap quality of the headphones. Those little foam cases never last long. The second thing that struck me was the complete lack of control. I always have to turn the volume down on my Mac because most headsets I've used leave me deaf at medium volume. It's a lot easier with onboard controls, especially when using programs where you can't easily access the computer's onboard audio. Also, for a USB headset, I've found that a mute button is essential. Imagine you're in a VoIP conference where everyone hears you sneeze or mumble something under your breath, what do you think of the other participants? As far as sound quality goes, I'm not an absolute music lover, but I find it a bit "tin". I will put this headset on the shelf and order the H570e
