. Very good and reliable discs.

Very good product. I'm glad I bought this. Remember that the top 3 contenders are the most compatible DVD manufacturers: Philips (original and first manufacturer of devices, discs). Memorex and TDK. Very good and reliable discs.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Compatible

Great DVDs at a great price

I only use Philips DVDs for TV recordings. They offer excellent playback on Hi-Def channels at 2 hour speed. I use them for all my recordings and although I don't have a label printer the price was comparable to regular DVDs.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Some little things

Not bad. 1/2 through coasters start to happen.

Excellent up to 1/2 way through the spindle then about 3 out of 10 cup holders were. Started taking from below and everything is fine. Love the white disc, great if you are artistic and want to really personalize the DVD. Will be ordering this and double layers again

Pros
  • Tested for one year
Cons
  • There are flaws

First purchase

Have never bought these wheels before. I can't say anything about the print quality as I haven't tried it on an inkjet printer yet. I bought them because the price was right. Upon receipt I found them to be very reliable in record mode and the playback quality was top notch. I highly recommend them based on those two observations alone.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • New competitors appeared

Replaced by poor quality DVDs

These DVDs used to be the best DVDs. They worked very well. Recently they changed the hard drive, which is now being sold. Previously I had virtually no formatting errors, but with this new disc I've had a lot of formatting error problems on more than half of the DVDs. I keep looking for the old variety of these Phillips DVDs, but I think they've all been finally superseded by this new type of disc. They should be making more money selling these cheaper drives now, but in the long run they will

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

Love it. best in blank media

I bought a new printer to print DVD and CD labels for myself and others. I'm not sure what to expect from them. I wrote a few before the printer came and I hated it. Then I printed the first DVD label for one of my mom's DVDs and I loved it. It looks more professional. They seem to dry quicker than the manual recommends (but I live in the desert so may take longer to dry in a wetter environment) and look great. The colors of the ink exactly match the colors on the computer. Light is light and…

Printable DVDs - Accessories & Supplies

I saw a YouTube video of a rapper showing him how to print his music CDs at home and save money. When I saw what printer he was using I was stunned because I have the exact same Epson model. I checked my Epson's user manual, it says nothing about the printer being able to print to DVD. Following the instructions from Epson customer service who confirmed the device would print DVD but only with Epson software I was able to insert the Philips inkjet DVD into the printer's mechanical setting…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
