Good, from the son's point of view: it sounds great, drowns out all outside noise until it breaks. From my point of view: he hears nothing in them! Annoying as a parent, you have to look him in the face to get his attention ;) Small quality issue: after a few days of using these earcups, one of the earcups slipped off and it was literally impossible to put back on. Our solution was to glue it in place, which worked really well. We did this with another while we had glue.
