08/08/2019Received this fantastic product today and immediately dropped everything to install it. Upon opening the shipping box, we found that the device was packaged in a plastic bag. The kit also included an approximately 13-inch cable with two USB connectors. When you pick up the device, it feels solid, but has just enough weight to let you know you're holding something. The device was placed on a large mouse pad. This ensures that the device does not slide on the lacquered wooden table. There are two USB ports on the back with a wheel to switch on the device. Connection and telephone connection on the left side. For some reason the cooler did not start, despite using the appropriate connectors, swapping the wires and repeating the process for the other connector of the cooler. Luckily, the laptop has another USB port on the right side, which currently houses the wireless mouse receiver. It was removed and the cooler was connected successfully. After that, the mouse receiver successfully moved to the left side. Later I found out that I could connect a mouse receiver. to another place cooler so that the mouse works properly and free up a port on the laptop. BONUS! I didn't know the blown radiator worked the way it used to (and still does), TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! I have a window fan about 8 feet away and I can hear it but not the radiator fans. There is a blue (my pick) glow reflecting off the white wall behind the cooler/laptop. It is said that the more you spin the wheel, the brighter the glow. I don't see it on my block and I'm fine with that. It also turned out that when you turn off the laptop, the cooler also turns off. One thing I haven't fully explored is the elevation difference noted. A mouse pad elevates the laptop, and even a low-profile cooler elevates the laptop even higher. Additionally, there are three settings to elevate the laptop even higher by tilting the laptop for a more ergonomic design. In my case this works great. My desk is an old fashioned wooden desk for writing or even a typewriter. My kitchen chair. Being tall, I had to bend down to work with the laptop as there were no adjustment options. No longer. The cooler is 17.3 inches wide and my laptop covers almost the entire surface of the cooler. The laptop does not hang down. There is a small stand at the bottom of the cooler that holds the laptop in place nicely. I've also found that the laptop doesn't slip at all between the laptop's legs and the cooler's grille. This is definitely a good choice when a cooler is needed. Updates will come over time, but for now I just can't praise this device enough, despite a minor glitch with the ports. that the light is so imperceptible, and I collected it during the day, I did not see the light. Also, I've found that YES, the light dims as the spinning wheels spin. Daylight and evening hours also showed up here.
