This is my second one, the first worked great, the second broke after about a week. Thermaltake's warranty page and shipping cost make it pointless to waste time on a replacement. My fan has stopped spinning, but I still use it to lift my laptop. The bottom can be a little more comfortable for lap use, I think it's more suitable for surface mounting the computer.

I run it at around 75% to cool a 6-core discrete GPU (with Hyper-Threading) and 16GB of RAM, and it keeps the internal fan from overclocking (for the most part) while the VMs are running.
