Crappy design. The cable is not properly attached to the case, which leads to a short circuit of the device and a complete failure. This is a design flaw and over time any owner of this product will likely experience the same results with it being moved, stored and used regularly. I originally bought it to test thermals against a cheap Chinese imitation. it initially outperformed and dropped my peak temps by 3C. Then it collapsed, so cheap Chinese is better than Thermaltake. Thermaltake was able to easily fix this by connecting the device's cable to the case with a strong fastener to ensure a secure connection. I overlooked a simple mistake and it's catastrophic. This design can easily cause a fire in the house.
