Review on Thermaltake Massive V20 Laptop Cooling Pad with Steel Mesh Panel, Adjustable 200mm Blue LED Fan and Speed Control for 10-17 inch Notebook CL-N004-PL20BL-A by Shaun Bushey

I was skeptical because it was an exchange, Amazon has a limited and poor range of cooling pads that it sells locally. Of all, this one had the fewest bad reviews. Yes, it's light and yes, the fan noise is low. Actually lower than my laptop fans at high settings. The fan isn't that powerful, you sacrifice noise for performance. When you game, you need a powerful fan that forces cool air into the vents underneath the laptop to cool the CPU and GPU. This product does, but overall it's not essential. My processor was downgraded from 190-200 to 170-180 degrees. GPU is about the same, 10 degrees. Not exactly what I was hoping for. I have a feeling that a vacuum fan is the way to go. I've heard better results with other cooling pads and using cooling pads in combination with vacuum fans.
