Review on Thermaltake Massive V20 Laptop Cooling Pad with Steel Mesh Panel, Adjustable 200mm Blue LED Fan and Speed Control for 10-17 inch Notebook CL-N004-PL20BL-A by Harwinder Duong

Bought this cooler for my Lenovo Y40 14" because the battery had to be changed a couple of times due to rapid wear and tear (eg Luckily I have an extended 2 year warranty. As the Y40 was nearing the end of its warranty and battery degradation is usually related to heat, I bought this to keep in the office (I also had another cooler for home use). Short said: Pros: - Good build, especially for the price - Barely audible (if at all) - Blue LEDs (although hard to see when the laptop is standing on it) - Adjustable fan speed - LED on/off button Cons: - Might be a bit small for any laptop over 15". Have been using it for a few months, so good, just works as it should. Only change I had to make was add Need a USB cable extension (since I connected it to an external monitor and not the laptop itself. But if you connect it to a laptop, the cable is more than adequate length). Since it only has one large fan, it should be quieter than multiple small fans. TBH I didn't realize it was working (nor is my office noisy). The only problem I can think of is the size; Even though they tout it as "compatible with 17" laptops and below, even my 14" Y40 is almost the same size as the cooler.
