Great Little Pack - Outdoor

I bought this pack for a hike in the Southwest. I have traveled to several places (Hualapai Mountains, Grand Canyon, Valley of Fire and Red Rock Canyon) and this little backpack served what I needed very well. The hydration bladder holds 2 liters of water and keeps the water cool enough all day long. In addition to the hydration bladder, the backpack fits an iPad Air 2 (very important for me because I use it as a camera), sunscreen, a packable long-sleeve sweater (not heavy like a fleece, but like a dry-fit shirt). ). ), charger, iPhone, lip balm, credentials (credit card, ID, just in case) and some snacks. I'm glad I didn't spend a million bucks on Camelbak - it was the perfect size for me and I never felt heavy. To clean, I simply rinsed it with hot water and then hung it dry. I like that the hose completely detaches from the bladder for cleaning. Height wise, I'm a female, 5ft 6in, 150lbs and have had no issues. * FEBRUARY 2020 UPDATE Bladder, outer fabric underneath feels wet to the touch as if leaking. It has to do with bubble condensation, so there's nothing I can do about it. I stopped pouring cold, cold water into my bladder. But it dries relatively quickly. .Aside from that this bag has now been in many many places and is holding up great. Moved to Arizona and uses it almost every weekend. I got lazy and started tossing it in the freezer once it was emptied and no bacteria is growing not and is not hung out to dry. I wish there was a tube cleaning tube included. You can remove the rubber valve from the hose to clean it out so it doesn't build up, so that's good. Definitely not recommended for long day hikes in the heat, in my experience 2L of water is not enough.
