This is a really good hydration pack with lots of great features. • 2 liter water bladder easily slides into a mesh pocket on the back. Two Velcro straps hold the tank securely in place. The bag closes with Velcro. • The water from the hydration bladder was really clean the first time it was used. It never had a plastic or chemical taste • The water hose can be threaded through any shoulder strap. I particularly like that his backpack has a strap higher on the shoulder that holds the snorkel and another strap closer to the chest to give the snorkel extra support. • The water snorkel is quite long and easily adjustable for a smaller or larger person. • The hydration tube has one of the most durable caps I've seen on a reservoir and an easy on/off system. • Additional safety features include a reflective strip on the back of the backpack, a red LED emergency light and an emergency whistle. Chest strap closure • Plenty of storage space! Large exterior zippered pocket with divider is big enough for a snack or extra clothes. Front vertical zip pocket is perfect for cards. A detachable mesh pocket provides additional space for clothing, gloves, helmets, etc. Another pocket on the hip belt is perfect for a phone and/or keys. • Two additional hooks on the bottom of the shoulder straps can be used to hold additional carabiner items (not included). The only reason I didn't give this one 5 stars is that the shoulder straps are not padded. With some hydration packs, unlined shoulders aren't a big deal, but this one has plenty of storage space, which can add a lot of weight to the pack. This is an exceptionally good backpack for parents who are going camping with young children who are not yet big enough to carry their own backpack. Overall this is a fantastic hydration pack well worth the price.
