Saved me some serious time/cash
I was able to repair a damaged lug bolt on a car that otherwise would have had me tearing apart my suspension or taking a grinder to it in order to replace. Really cool design that saved the day.
Pros
- Prevent cross threading - split die design allows repairs to start behind the damaged threads
