Marks very very light

It makes a very light mark that you can barely see and if you want it to show up more have to write over it several times! & not only that, it will fade within 2 days.

Pros
  • Product is what you would expect.
Cons
  • Very disappointed. Crayons came in a smashed box tip of multiple crayons broken.

They barely do the job

They do the job ok, once you go over it several times. At work we use a different brand that is more of a chalk, it is much easier to use because you can go over the tire once and it leaves a nice bright mark. I found that these don’t work at all on tires that are dry rotted, and when they do mark the mark is very dull. In addition, when you want to remove the mark, you will have to scrub it, even if you use brake cleaner At work, the chalk marking material we use just comes right off with…

Pros
  • thanks
Cons
  • yellow crayons for tire marking, they work

This is so much better than the china marker pencil

I do a lot of tire rotation service at work. This is so much better than the china marker pencil. This one lasts long. And don't take it for "permanent" I marked tires and this can easily be rubbed off. I use it to mark the location of the tire on the inside so we don't screw up.

Pros
  • They didn’t mark as bright as I would like but otherwise they are dine
Cons
  • Hard to mark tires with this chalk. I will try cheap white crayons.

USELESS ON TIRES - my new review

These are a yellow crayons . a 'China Marker'. They might work on paper but they are useless on rubber or any other material I have tried. For marking tires use a paint marker instead: Allstar Performance ALL12051 Yellow Paint Marker or Sharpie Oil-Based Paint Marker, Medium Point, Single, Yellow (SAN35554)

Pros
  • Did the job
Cons
  • Didn’t work on my tires just balled up....waste of time

this product does not write well on windows

I WORK FOR A CAR RENTAL COMPANY AND OUT OF SERVICE CARS GET THEIR WINDOWS MARKED SO AS TO WICH AREA TO TAKE THEM TO. That's my review.

Pros
  • Their tire crayons. Works as described
Cons
  • will not mark on most surfaces

Not a bad chalk for tires

Don’t know about the weather resistant but stayed on the side of the tire but still ain’t enough to stay on the surface point of the tire except inside the treads

Pros
  • Color
Cons
  • Didn’t draw well on tires.

Somewhat works best in my review

I work at a tire shop. These don't measure up to better chalks. They wipe off very easily, sometimes just rolling the tire rubs it off, they only mark on dull or roughed surfaces, and are more rubbery than painty.

Pros
  • Ok, but only if you're not in heat.
Cons
  • Not Good for Tires, Not Legible.

Hard as a rock for my opinion

I gave it one star for a lack of less. I'm a truck driver and got box of these just to mark outside of trailer tires in the winter so I can see if the wheels are turning, sometimes brakes freeze causing the wheel to lock up. Im totally disappointed, no matter how hard I press the marking is almost invisible.

Pros
  • It is what it is: A tire crayon. I'm happy with these.
Cons
  • Don't write on most surfaces.

Good to have on my review.

Always nice to have a crayon in the shop. Can be used to mark darn near everything. Very nice for labeling parts that will be laying around a while.

Pros
  • I used the product for marking the area to be repaired, tires, wood and steel.
Cons
  • Marking the tire is poor. Very hard to see on the tire and you need to work at getting it on.

Three Stars - my new review

just large crayons, they don'y write very well on rubber, white walls maybe, just not on black wall tires. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Not much to say. It’s tire chalk
Cons
  • Item says wet or dry. Only works in dry surface .

Waste of money! for my opinion

DO NOT PURCHASE! Can’t read the markings on the tires. I even tried several of them thinking I got a bad one so now I can’t return them because I don’t have the whole pack. Very dissatisfied customer!

Pros
  • Great for marking tires.
Cons
  • these were useless... they melted and we had to turn around and re-order different ones.

Tire marker on my review.

Product was not as good as I thought it would be. bought this to write the tire sizes on my tires for the tire shop I owned Thanks for attention!

Pros
  • works well
Cons
  • The yellow coloring may not be practical for certain applications that require inconspicuous markings, such as when working on high-end sports cars or luxury vehicles

good enough, not great

It's ok for occasional, temporary marking such as marking punctures for patching. Melted a bit in my parked car, but held enough shape to use. Wish it marked a bit brighter, but overall, good enough, not great.

Pros
  • Great tire marking crayon
Cons
  • They don't write at all white

long lasting but wont work when wet.

I love these crayons. They are hard and will last you a very long time. Only problem is that they wont write on the tires if they are wet. The other brands will because they are soft but will last a week and maybe break in half sometimes. Compared to these, ive been using one for over a year now. One box may last you a lifetime depending how often you use it.

Pros
  • Great deal
Cons
  • The marking can become easily smudged or wiped away, rendering the tire damage identification ineffective

Worked, Kinda - my new review

Bought these to use on the Planet Mojo channel (YouTube) when I did a flat roof project using EPDM rubber. It does not mark EPDM rubber very well. It worked, but a kids crayon will do just as well.

Pros
  • Works great on tires
Cons
  • WTF?! It doesn't work on tires!

"Efficient Tire Marking Tool

As a result of using this product, I found that it is a must-have tool for every mechanic dealing with tires. The yellow color is highly visible and makes it easy to identify and mark tire damage. The set of 12 crayons is ideal for multiple repair jobs, and it goes on smoothly without any mess.

Pros
  • The color is highly visible, making it easy to identify and mark tire damage. The set of 12 crayons is ideal for multiple repair jobs. It goes on smoothly without any mess.
Cons
  • The crayons could break easily if not handled with care.

Crappy Tire Marking Crayons

These crayons suck Baaaad! I had to mark for a large patch on a tractor tire and used the entire point of a crayon and could barely see the markings. I had to rapidly grind the crayon against the rubber to even have an indication of a white mark on a black tire. Sure wish I would of listened to the negative reviews on this product!

Pros
  • Does it's job - puts yellow marks on tire sidewalls. No complaints.
Cons
  • they are just yellow kids crayons.

Good value for your money.

I purchased this product because I could not tell if the business was rotating my tires with this product you mark two tires and their is no doubt that your tires were rotated.

Pros
  • For the cost this product is great.
Cons
  • Good feel in your hands, but they do not mark well on tires. They fade quickly as well.

Ok Tire Crayon good for me

I have been a repeat customer with these tire crayons due to the low cost for more product position. I have used them in all seasonal conditions and I am somewhat disappointed. These crayons perform well in the mild to semi hot times of the season, however there are factors to getting them to perform clear on the rubber. If tire is too dirty, too slick, too hot, too cold, they are lacking in performance. Also they break very easily. If you press too hard while writing they break in half. Sharp…

Pros
  • Great
Cons
  • Don’t work on white letter tires.
