Review on ๐Ÿ–๏ธ Steelman Yellow Tire Marking Crayons: Identify Tire Damage with Ease, Box of 12 by Jim Plump

Revainrating 2 out of 5

They barely do the job

They do the job ok, once you go over it several times. At work we use a different brand that is more of a chalk, it is much easier to use because you can go over the tire once and it leaves a nice bright mark. I found that these donโ€™t work at all on tires that are dry rotted, and when they do mark the mark is very dull. In addition, when you want to remove the mark, you will have to scrub it, even if you use brake cleaner At work, the chalk marking material we use just comes right off with brakleen. I did give them 2 stars because it does do the job, but I wouldnโ€™t reccomend them because of how difficult these are to mark with.

Pros
  • thanks
Cons
  • yellow crayons for tire marking, they work
