First of all, I never got around to testing the "lighted" part of these. I wanted some cheap flat pedals to put in an older road bike that I use for tooling around the neighborhood with the kids.The bearings on these were super tight. definitely you'll be losing energy that should go to pedaling just dealing with the friction on the pedals.But worse, the threading on the left pedal was bad. Sturdy, darker than the photo shows, and reminds me of a 1980's GUESS bag. The inside shoe/dirty laundry compartment fits the length of the entire bag if needed. Large zippers to ensure they wont break or snag easily. The way it is shipped is unimpressive. The back strap which allows it to be placed on rollaway luggage is not large or reliable, one sharp corner and it has the potential to shift.
