Great Cables in my review

I bought 5 cables to make runs from my router to devices in my basement which I’m renovating into recreation space. I tested each cable by using my portable computer turning off WiFi and snapping in each cable. All five worked perfectly.Cables came in a reusable zip type of bag along with clips to secure the cable to wood. The clips were also in a separate zip closing bag. Nice touch for the extras to be kept in one place.

Pros
  • Por ahora súper bien.
Cons
  • Prone to tangling and kinks

Don't try to terminate this cable!

It's a great cable. Very pliable and routes easy. I bought the 100 footer which turned out to be way longer than I needed. I took a leap of faith and tried to shorten the line by terminating it. Yeah.big mistake. The wires inside are incredibly tiny and very difficult to handle. If you're thinking about getting this and terminating it yourself.look elsewhere. If you just want a high-speed cable, that's well built for cheap. This is it.

Pros
  • Bought it to play videogames and that's exactly what it does. Great quality and no drops
Cons
  • Cannot be used for outdoor installations

Good Ethernet Cable!

It's a nice cable! I'm not sure if it's because of the cable or some other outside influence, but I did get extraordinarily high speeds using this cable compared to what I've gotten in the past on others. Haven't really gotten to test the durability and sturdiness since I just set it up but it seems fine. Plastic on the ends seems a bit soft, but as long as you aren't stabbing it with a screwdriver to push it through a wall you should be all good.

Pros
  • Cables & Interconnects
Cons
  • May not be as durable as advertised

Good cable on my review.

I ran cable to all the bedrooms in the house with this cable, and it works great. The only negative I have, is that the cable is spooled from the middle, and not the ends, which makes it clumsy to run.

Pros
  • Ideal for home and office networking
Cons
  • Prone to tangling during transportation or storage

Good Flat Cable good for me

Bought this to ensure internet wouldn’t be disrupted for a projector and Fire Stick setup in the backyard. I specifically looked for a flat cable in order to run underneath a door to the outside. Worked perfectly for that. I did buy an Ethernet adapter in order to hook up to the device FYI. Definitely recommend.

Pros
  • Perfect for online gaming tournaments and events
Cons
  • May require extra software to use all features

Good Value for the Price

This seems to be a good value for the price. I am using this to connect a roof antenna to my home network (about 18in exposed to the elements.) I did not notice the odor some reviews referenced. As this is being used for power over ethernet, I would have appreciated the specs to reference the wire gauge. I have not cut this open to inspect this or confirm the extra jacketing layer to meet CAT7 requirements. With that being noted, I have not had any issues with the cable functionality or…

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Not suitable for large business networks

Durable cable best in my review

Very durable cable, does exactly what it needs to. I've noticed a considerable drop in latency when wired vs wireless which is exactly what I was hoping for.

Pros
  • Does what it's supposed to.
Cons
  • Slippery surface may cause accidental drops

just as described on my review.

In todays world I dont like everything I do to be run on wireless connections and into the open air so I prefer to hardwire my computers and hate having the big lumps under rugs and carpets. This is great and I can use one of my computers in the bed room and hear the emails as they arrive in the overnight hours from other companies in other countires without having another lumpy rug

Pros
  • HIGHER SPEED&NO INTERFERENCE: Made of 4 shielded twisted pair (STP) of copper wires with 8 Gold Contact Pins on each end support up to 10 gigabits/600MHz per second(4 times the bandwidth of Cat6 cable),which ensure better protection from crosstalk, noise, and interference that can degrade the signal quality
Cons
  • Limited availability for longer lengths

Cat 7 only link at 100MBps

I have Asus routers that I link together for mesh and couldn't figure why the uplink would start at Gig speeds and check days later to learn it degraded to Meg speeds. For the longest time I was blaming, rebooting, resetting, etc the Asus routers. I bought a UDM Pro and switches, sure enough I had the same problem. Then started thinking what's common between the two and it was the cable. I replaced this cable with a different brand and no link problems since. I've never had an ethernet cable…

Pros
  • Feature-packed and perfect for multiple devices
Cons
  • May not work with certain power outlets or strips

nice and flat hides behind baseboards nicely

bought one 30' cable to run from router and devices and then found out I needed a longer set. So ordered two 50' to place behind baseboards and ran them up thru the wall, now I have almost no cables behind my TV, Apple TV and DVR to clutter the walls.I wound up coiling the extra amount of the cables behind the TV stand under where the aforementioned devices are placed.

Pros
  • Suitable for long-distance networking
Cons
  • Limited compatibility with cloud network services

Ran to the guest house with no issues

This has been run outdoors to a guest house for six months, with no issues. We get a good connection out there. I can't say much about its sun resistance because it's very shady where I ran the cable but all of the other outdoorsy problems like water and temperature shifts have all been fine. (Although to be fair, winter is coming but I'm pretty confidant at this point.)

Pros
  • GREAT NETWORKING COMPATIBILITY: Perfectly backward compatible with existing Fast/Gigabit Ethernet(Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a). Supports all devices with RJ45 Jacks, including Computer Servers, For Mac Pro, Printers, Switch, Routers, ADSL, NAS, Hubs,Modems, PS3, PS4, patch panels and other networking equipment
Cons
  • Not suitable for high-voltage environments

Works - but sub-standard wire gauge

The construction of the cable seems good, 4 individually shielded twisted pairs each fully surrounded in the cable jacket. However, the individual conductors are less than 24 gauge and do not make contact in a standard keystone jack. The cable works fine in its as-delivered state, but I cut one end to terminate in a wall plate and had no connection. I was able to crimp an RJ-45 connector on the cut end and that worked.

Pros
  • The cable worked great for our project
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all routers/modems

Worked where other cables didn't

I'm using the cable to extend the HDMI signal from a video cam to switcher. Other cables didn't work beyond 290'. This cable works great to 50'.

Pros
  • Robust, flat shielded design for durability and flexibility
Cons
  • May not support certain video streaming services

Great Cable in my review

So far this cable is turning out really well. I got it within 2 days of ordering, thanks prime, and I haven’t been disappointed. The cable is exactly as shown in photo, flat and black, and it also comes with holders to keep it tight against a surface. I was able to get this to run along my entire wall, up and around my door, and on the ground through to another room with the modem. Speeds stay exactly as they were when I was closer, and ping is just as good when I was in the room with the…

Pros
  • Suitable for both personal and professional use
Cons
  • More difficult to repair than other Ethernet cables

Tough cable in my review

Very versatile and fast cable, I have tugged and pulled on it hard, part of it is buried and another is exposed to the elements on the roof and it has held up like a champ. Backward compatible at a great price. Definitely recommend. Easy decision

Pros
  • FLAT-SHAPED DESIGN: Cat 7 ethernet cable 100 ft flat with unique flat cable shape can be installed more conveniently and safely. You can easily and seamlessly route the cable along the edges and corners of the wall, or even completely invisible through the carpet, making it easy to adapt to the narrowest space
Cons
  • May require firmware updates to work correctly
