At first, I filled the base that I obtained to go with this umbrella with water, but that did not give it enough stability for even relatively light breezes. I then got rid of the water and ordered a 50 pound bag of sand. It took a while to get the sand in the base, but I got it done. I decided I needed even more weight and put another 50 pounds of sand on top of the base. The umbrellas now seems stable. Problem solved! Although it was fun putting it together, the lift coaster does not work. The balls are not lifted high enough to enter the ramp. This is due to the first part of the ramp not fitting properly. It is too high for the ball to fall into and it cannot be lowered as it fits into a tab and can only be pushed down so far.A couple of other ramp pieces do not fit properly either.
