We bought a bunch of these lights. Turned out we bought quite a few more than we actually needed. They put off a great glow in both directions so you can really space them out pretty far from each other. Despite the marketing for these pads, they noticeably alter the sound of the ATH-M50x. I compared these directly to another pair with the stock pads, switching pads and cables to make sure there wasn't a problem with another piece of hardware. I'm not an audio expert, but I can safely say that the the lows are way less punchy, the highs are tinny, and everything sounds generally muddier and undefined with the Brainwavz ProStock pads. i recently purchased upgraded brakes for my automotive and found that the EBC Brakes Dimpled Slotted options provided the performance I was looking for.
