BEAUTIFUL SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL

I am very pleased to write this review of the Jabra Elite 85h Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones. First of all: Who am I and what are my qualifications? Thanks for the question. I've been in radio since 1986. At work, I've been using headphones for 5+ hours a day, 240+ days a year for over 30 years. I've used a variety of headphones, although I generally found what I liked and stuck with it. So maybe my list isn't as long as you might expect. I think it's safe to say that I have some experience with headphones. That doesn't necessarily make me an expert, because there are many different headphones for different tasks. But I think I'm - at the very least - a knowledgeable professional. TL; DR Short Version: JABRA 85h HEADPHONES WORTH EVERY PENNY OF ITS PRICE AND THE SOUND IS AMAZING! So let's talk about the Jabra 85h headphones. Let's start with the price. These are not budget headphones and they don't pretend to be budget headphones. If you want to save money, you've come to the wrong place. If you're looking for great sound quality, good build quality, and a useful feature set, you've come to the right place. The Jabra 85h headphones are very comfortable. As with most noise-cancelling headphones, you can get a little warm and sweaty around your ears as they tend to create a sealed environment for your ears, but these are comfortable headphones. I haven't messed with Bluetooth or Alexa. You'll have to look at some other reviews for that - I don't really need these things in my headphones. I prefer to use them wired for the best sound quality, and I have millions of Alexa devices that respond when I say something vaguely similar to their name. I don't need anyone else I was interested in SOUND QUALITY and comfort. We've already looked at the comfort, so let's talk about the sound quality. I put it on, hooked it up to my Vault 2i network music player and tried out the music mix. Everything from The Cars, The Police, The Who, Toto, The Outfield, Billy Squier and many more. With the help of an equalizer I was able to make the dirtiest old recordings clear, sharp and bright. With newer songs, the equalizer was almost not necessary. Volume levels were very good, and I was able to reach near-painful levels without the slightest hint of distortion. I've never experienced classic distortion, although if I crank the EQ up high enough on the bass I might get a few dips or pops, but that could even be due to the EQ software itself. The headphones sounded fantastic. I understand these are expensive headphones in most worlds. They are for me, of course, but there are audiophiles who scoff at them. People who pay a lot more for headphones are then forced to buy amplifiers because the headphones have high impedance drivers that require more power to drive them. These audiophile headphones sound amazing and I envy those who use them, but they represent a whole new level of sophistication and extras and I could go on and on about why these headphones are as good for MOST PEOPLE as you are. . ever be needed. I suspect most of us haven't heard the difference anyway, and I suspect most of us are still using fairly simple drivers (like your computer's or cell phone's sound card) to control our headphones and not this level require. Headphones because we're just going to amplify the bullshit anyway. And the last note - there are three modes for these headphones. You hear the music, but you also hear when someone is talking to you. ANC - automatic noise reduction, you will not hear any background noise, only music. You can hear outside noise - a bit. ANC makes the outside world VERY QUIET and almost all you hear is music. The Jabra 85h does this VERY WELL and HAS NO AUDIO AT ALL. Basically, the bass is somewhat lost in this setup, but is surprisingly good. I was impressed by this because a lot of cheap headphones try to use ANC and it doesn't sound good. Jabra does ANC very, very well! Ultimately, I would be happy to stand up to anyone considering these headphones and tell them that these are OUTSTANDING HEADPHONES and that you should definitely buy them - THEY ARE AMAZING! I hope you find this review helpful. I think reviews are very important to Revain and they really help me decide if a product is worth buying or not, so I try to return the favor and give a review that honestly tells you if the product is good is or not. We all use products in different ways so I also try to be clear about what's important to me and hopefully this will help you understand if you will like it too.
