These are the most beautiful and individual cat shelves we have found. It's not real wood, no, but it's floating shelves with no visible brackets, they look good, and come in a variety of sizes to be placed in a custom configuration. You can see in the picture that we used a set of 3 shelves with a large shelf with a hole plus an extra small and an extra medium shelf to create the stairs from the ground up. It takes some feline dexterity to climb up and down the hole, but our two cats manage it without too much trouble. Sisal pads with Velcro make shopping on the shelf easy, which is particularly important for corner shelves. The shelf brackets are quite strong and have enough mounting points for 6 screws which we found was more than enough and typically only 3 were used especially when one was on a wall shelf. One box came with no screws but we contacted the company and they sent us the missing screws. Overall we are very happy with these shelves.
