When our two rescue cats realized the activity shelves were for them, they wouldn't leave them alone. They are durable and modern, and they complement my decor. Might need another set for the bottom floor!

So we tried to assemble it ourselves. it does not work. They weren't strong at all. Then I hired a reputable handyman for another job and asked him to install these shelves as well. He said he would not install shelves and that he would not put the cat at that risk! And the worst. it was after my return date. So now I'm stuck with some pieces of useless wood! These shelves suck. Now I have huge holes in my wall due to anchors that I need to remove. Shelves tumble on metal brackets and not all are fixed. Secondly. The metal brackets are bent so that the shelves are tilted at 15 degrees. That's not normal. Looks terrible. Third. "Plywood" if you can call it that. I would call it band. Unfortunately the top right shelf (the big one with a hole) was very wobbly, although the mount was very secure as I used two anchors and hammered a bolt into the center of each shelf regardless of size. These are the most beautiful and individual cat shelves we have found. It's not real wood, no, but it's floating shelves with no visible brackets, they look good, and come in a variety of sizes to be placed in a custom configuration. You can see in the picture that we used a set of 3 shelves with a large shelf with a hole plus an extra small and an extra medium shelf to create the stairs from the ground up. It takes some feline dexterity to climb up and down the hole, but our two cats manage it

Overall a good product. Good price for simple beautiful cat wall shelves. Good quality wall anchors are included, but I recommend positioning them so that at least one screw on each shelf will fit in the rack. I was able to do this for 2 out of 3 shelves and the ones on the shelf seem much stronger.
