I didn't even have to bribe Fergie with treats to dress her. She immediately started exploring the shelves, running up and down to get to the top of the bookshelf. It only weighs 6 pounds so the shelves are strong enough for it. The texture of the rug is her favorite look and the velcro that attaches it to the shelves is very strong. The super soft cushion for the larger shelf is like a mini cat mattress. We put shelves between her scratching post and bookshelf to give her extra things to climb on and it immediately became her favorite spot to watch us from.
