I love these shelves but I'm not the center of attention here. It's really all about what cats think, am I right? Both of my cats love the shelves (I actually bought 2 sets). Both of my cats used to be feral and giving them high places makes them feel safer. The really impressive part for me was the high quality zinc dowels that were included. I live in a 100+ year old house with stucco walls which is a problem. I can't tell you how many times I've struggled to mount something to the wall because the anchors that came with them were crap. I haven't had as many difficulties with this set as previously stated. approve cats!
