This jacket is great. It's constructed differently than most jackets, with a central panel that attaches to drawcords at the waist. This keeps the dog's neck, chest and stomach closed and therefore clean in bad weather. I have a dachshund and this is especially helpful as deep seated dogs pick up on pretty much anything they come close to. For that reason alone, this is a great jacket; but the materials used are also excellent - very high quality - including a small silver stripe running the length of each side that catches the light (hence useful in the dark). The main (outer) material is lightweight but durable. One of the things I love most about this jacket is that it does so much - covers, reflects, repels (rain/snow) - and is so light. Finally, I can't say enough about the owner Stephanie. She was incredibly helpful when I was unsure of my dog's size and checked me after I got him but didn't bother me to leave a review. The store has great, well thought out items and I will definitely be back.
