Nearly perfect. Best in Car Safety and Protection

(Disclosure: I'm not a certified mechanic/electrician. Lost like me. I'm not responsible if anyone uses my suggestions). Definitely with a review. This product was near perfect. After the installation is complete, everything works and runs flawlessly. However, achieving the end product can become somewhat of a routine. My first problem with this camera setup is that the two wires (black/red and solid red) are too short. There is a significant difference in length between the RCA cable and the ground and power cable. I had to go to an auto parts store and buy extra wire to run in my truck's cab. My second problem is that the instructions are very vague. Here's a little tip for anyone who may have the same problem as me. There are two red power wires. One of them is used in conjunction with the RCA cable. When you use this cable, the camera is always on (remember, that short red power cable connected to the RCA cable is entirely optional). The second red wire runs the length of the black/red ground wire. This wire can be connected to the reversing light wire that runs under the dashboard on the driver's side under the dash. If you select this cable, the camera will only turn on when reversing (I like that option better). You don't have to do what I did and plug those two power cords into the correct power source. There can only be one or the other. If you manage to connect both wires, you will most likely get a check engine light. As soon as I realized that only a red wire was to be used with the camera, the check engine light went out. Aside from the vague instructions and brief change in wire length, I'm enjoying the product.
