This mirror was exactly what we were looking for to give our open vanity area that hotel look. It’s not super bright, so if you are going to be applying makeup in you bathroom, I’d add supplemental lighting or get a brighter mirror. The light is very cool toned, so if you’re looking for warm white light, this is not for you. Our handyman installed it very easily using the j box for the old light fixture. We can use the switch on the wall or the button on the mirror itself to turn it on. It does not make any weird buzzing sounds. Can’t speak to the defrost, as we have no need to use it. Pictured is the 36x28 size. Excuse the mess.
