Review on 🚶 3M Safety Walk Light 1" x 60' Non-Slip Tape by Pavel Craig

I put this tape on the painted wooden steps leading up to my house. To give some background these steps look really nice but they are very slippery and I had one person fall halfway down and numerous close calls because the steps are not toe-hold and on some Spots are too tight to make the most of your legs. foot on the actual step. I found this product promising because it is transparent and advertised as not being abrasive enough to irritate bare feet. I started by attaching a strip on the steps about 1/2 inch from the edge of the stairs. This helped a lot, but the real improvement came when I glued the second strip onto the step about 1" in from the first strip (so there was a 1" gap between the strips). It really helped and I haven't had to worry about climbing stairs ever since! They work great whether you're wearing socks, shoes, or barefoot. My only advice is to thoroughly clean the surface prior to application as recommended by the manufacturer. Not only does the grip get better, but trust me, if you catch dirt underneath this material, you'll see it after you put it on (made that mistake in the first step). I only wear them for about 1-2 months. but so far they don't look too dirty and definitely don't show any signs of lifting. Highly recommended!
