Review on Capture Broadcast Grabber Converter Compatible by Peter Bates

Work in VLC, OBS and more recording apps!

I tested this capture card with VLC and OBS and it worked for both. 1080p 60fps worked as claimed and the latency is lower than some other cards I've tested. The box gets a little warm during operation, but doesn't lag behind even after 1 hour of direct recording. I should mention that it doesn't seem to be recording with full chrome subsampling, so the colors are a bit washed out. I don't think streaming games is a big deal for most people; but if you're looking for a 100% perfect bit capture then this won't really work (at least not 1080p60). The last thing to note (and this may be important to some people) is that the video is PASSED. So it's just a RECORDER. This means that if you want to record a monitor, you need to split the HDMI signal with an HDMI splitter. Otherwise, the device should output directly. The lower latency means it can be used as a transmission device; Play your console on your computer via something like VLC. where the console would be a screen in the windows (you probably never thought about it and now gears are turning in your head). Definitely a good choice! This capture card is ideal for streamers, gamers and anyone who wants to stream with minimal latency. Works "out of the box" without additional drivers (under Windows 10). If this review helped you in any way; Please mark it as useful! Thanks very much!
